Black Cats. Ladders. Friday the 13th.
Screw superstitions. Luck has nothing to do with a day of the week.
We’re Borrowing from Elvis.
Thank you. Thank you very much.
Lucky Number 13
So we raised $13,728 (which evenly divides by thirteen) from 133 backers in a campaign that ended on Friday the 13th. Maybe I should head to Vegas????
Another Bit of “Luck”
The last successful campaign I ran we were going up against a film by Tom Hanks’ son, we battling for donors against another film about World War II veterans, and we never made it into the “top” lists according to Kickstarter’s statistical analysis.
In, this successful campaign we were going up against the remake of Mystery Science Theater 3000, were battling for donors against another film about burlesque performers, and we never made it into the “top” lists according to Kickstarter’s statistical analysis.
There’s something there.
Ruby Red Pinup, Alfie Jean, and Dixie Delight, who will each get featured stories in our interactive documentary, launching in late 2016. That’s because we went over our goal in the Kickstarter. They were cast via an Instagram contest.
And if we’re able to raise some more money on our Pin Up! The Movie store, we’ll be able to add in profiles of Ruby Jo Star and the Millie Michelle, who are the jokers in our pin up playing card deck.
